⚠ Machine-translated draft This English version is a machine-translated draft and is pending legal review. The Slovenian version is the legally binding document.
Effective date: 25 May 2026 · ARSIO SYSTEMS d.o.o. — Maribor, Slovenia
Document hierarchy These terms apply specifically to the Karierni Asistent service. Together with the General Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer, they constitute the entire agreement. In the event of a conflict between these terms and the General Terms, these terms shall prevail.

1. General

Karierni Asistent (hereinafter: "Platform") is a combined employment platform and SaaS recruitment tool operated by ARSIO SYSTEMS d.o.o., Ulica škofa Maksimilijana Držečnika 6, 2000 Maribor (hereinafter: "Provider"). The Platform is accessible at www.karierni-asistent.si and app.karierni-asistent.si.

These terms apply to all users: job seekers, employers, recruitment agencies, and visitors to the public part of the site. By using the Platform or registering, you agree to these terms.

The Platform combines: a job listing portal, a CV and profile database, tools for social media recruitment campaigns, a messaging system between employers and job seekers, and paid advanced services.

2. User account

Registration is free for job seekers. To open an account, you need a valid email address and basic details (name, surname, password). Registration is completed upon confirmation via an activation link within 72 hours.

Each User is entitled to one active account and must be at least 16 years old. The User is personally responsible for the accuracy of profile data. False data, duplicate accounts, or accounts in another person's name will result in account closure without prior notice.

The User is responsible for safeguarding login credentials. Any suspected unauthorized access should be reported immediately to info@karierni-asistent.si.

3. Job seekers

3.1 Free services

Job seekers have free access to: browsing job listings, creating and managing a professional profile, applying for listings, receiving notifications about new listings (with consent), and messaging with employers.

3.2 CV and profile

By uploading a CV or other documents, you confirm that you have the right to use them and that the data does not violate any laws or third-party rights. You undertake to provide only truthful data and to keep your profile regularly updated.

By activating your CV, you consent to its visibility to Employers. You control the level of visibility — with an anonymous profile, the Employer can only see your skills and experience, not personal identification data.

3.3 Prohibitions for job seekers

  • misuse of services for commercial purposes or sending content unrelated to job searching,
  • applying for listings with a purpose other than job searching,
  • entering inaccurate, misleading, or false data,
  • infringing the rights of third parties or applicable law.

4. Employers and agencies

4.1 Services for employers

Employers and agencies have access to: publishing job listings (paid per Price List), access to the CV database, social media recruitment campaign tools, an application management system (filtering, commenting, archiving), candidate messaging, advanced analytical tools, and priority support.

4.2 Content of listings

Employers are required to publish only genuine job offers in compliance with applicable law, including the Employment Relationships Act (ZDR-1) and the Public Use of the Slovenian Language Act (ZJRS). Listing content must not be discriminatory on the basis of gender, age, nationality, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Listings must not advertise undeclared work or infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties. The minimum application period for candidates is three (3) working days (Article 25 ZDR-1).

4.3 Protection of candidate data

The Employer handles job seekers' personal data as an independent data controller in accordance with the GDPR and applicable Slovenian legislation, including Article 30 of the ZDR-1 (rights of the unselected candidate) and Article 48 of the ZDR-1 (protection of employee personal data).

4.4 Agencies

An agency acting on the Platform on behalf of and for the account of third parties in the search for personnel must have an appropriate legal basis. The rights and obligations of agencies are equated with those of employers.

5. Recruitment campaigns on social networks

The Platform offers tools for preparing and publishing recruitment campaigns on social networks (Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms). The effectiveness of campaigns depends on many factors outside the Provider's control — the state of the labor market, the attractiveness of the position, the content of the listing.

The Provider does not guarantee the achievement of specific campaign results, is not responsible for changes in social network algorithms or policies, and is not responsible for the unavailability of Meta, Google, or other platform services.

6. Prices and payments

The service is free for job seekers. For employers, the Price List published on the Platform applies. All prices are in euros (EUR). The Provider is not a VAT payer, so prices do not include VAT.

Payment models

  • Monthly or annual subscription — for access to a specific service package.
  • One-time payment per listing — for individual publication without a subscription.

Payment methods

Payment is possible via the Stripe system (credit/debit cards, direct debit) or by bank transfer (payment period: 15 days). Statutory default interest applies for late payments.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a subscription at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Payments for already published listings or active campaigns are non-refundable, except in cases of a disruption originating exclusively from the Provider's side (written notice within 7 days).

Purchased listings must be published by the Employer within twelve (12) months of purchase.

7. Content and moderation

It is prohibited to publish content on the Platform that violates applicable law, is discriminatory, offensive, hateful, contains false or harmful information, or infringes intellectual property rights.

The Provider reserves the right to review and remove content. Inappropriate content can be reported via the "Report content" button or at info@karierni-asistent.si.

In the event of a violation, the Provider may require a correction, remove content, temporarily disable or permanently terminate an account. Appeals may be submitted in writing within 6 months.

The messaging system is intended exclusively for communication related to the recruitment process. Misuse for commercial purposes or spam is prohibited.

8. Platform liability

The Platform connects job seekers and employers — it is not a party to the employment contract. The Provider does not mediate in negotiations regarding working conditions, salary, or the type of contract. The Provider is not responsible for:

  • the content of listings published by employers,
  • the accuracy of data in job seekers' CVs and profiles,
  • the outcome of recruitment processes or the quality of applicants,
  • employers' actions during the selection process,
  • the results of social media recruitment campaigns,
  • technical failures due to force majeure or errors at third-party providers.

Details on liability limitations are set out in the Disclaimer.

9. Termination and deletion

You may close your account at any time — via profile settings or with a written request to info@karierni-asistent.si. All personal data will be permanently deleted or anonymized within 30 days, except data that must be retained due to legal obligations (e.g. accounting documents — 10 years).

The Provider reserves the right to immediately terminate an account in the event of a violation of these terms, reasonable suspicion of fraud, false data, or a request from competent authorities. In the event of termination due to violations, paid fees for the remaining period shall not be refunded.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the law of the Republic of Slovenia. Matters not expressly governed are subject to the Code of Obligations (OZ) and the Electronic Commerce and Electronic Signature Act.

The parties shall endeavor to resolve all disputes amicably. If this is not possible, disputes shall be resolved by the competent court in Maribor.

Before pursuing legal action, we invite you to contact us first at info@karierni-asistent.si — most matters are resolved through dialogue. Consumers have the right to alternative dispute resolution via the European Online Dispute Resolution Platform.
